I had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The plunge pool was definitely the highlight of our stay – it was the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Absolutely recommend the Colomb House to those looking for quiet, understated luxury. The aesthetics of the common areas, where we spent a lot of our time, had my heart <3 The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare our own breakfast when we wanted. Charlie, the manager, was helpful at all times, especially with helping us figure out our commute to and from Palolem. A good scooter was also arranged for us to rent on the days we were here. Truly an amazing stay in every respect. Really beautiful architectural house with a huge living room, cosy front yard, large kitchen and dining table, and of course the best part – the plunge pool! (Which actually is bigger in real life than it appeared to us in the pictures.) The room itself was perfect as well with a comfy large bed, couch and clothes rack, and the best bathroom we’ve had in India. Charlie the manager was super nice and friendly, and there for you any time you needed anything, be it a good deal on a scooter rental delivered to the house, beach recommendations, or just a quick chat. Finally the actual best part of our stay was Jenna, the sweetest and most friendly dog in the entire world whom we will miss dearly. The location was also perfect. A recently built villa in the best of taste, with great modern architectural and design style. I loved staying here for 4 nights. It really felt like a home – the huge modern living space makes a big difference. Bedrooms are a decent size with large modern en suite bathrooms and showers which don’t get the whole room wet – a blessing in India! I also met lovely travellers staying in the other 4 rooms to hang out with, which was great as a solo traveller. Read more

The Colomb House was an absolutely lovely place to stay in. It was exactly like the pictures and has a fun playful vibe to it with the yellow oxide floor, colourful decor, abundance of light streaming in through the huge windows and French doors. Everything was perfect. We were 3 friends in a room which was so spacious. The most comfortable king size mattress I’ve slept on while traveling…OMG the shower. YESSS. I would come back for the good sleep and shower alone. The whole space was super clean and really beautiful. I felt at home there. There are multiple rooms in the villa, so it’s got a sort of mature-fabulous-hostel-vibe where you may meet some other nice people.

We had the perfect time at Colomb house. Everything is super neat, modern and warm interior design, spacious and bright. Beaches are in walking distance and amazing restaurants just around the corner. Also the environment is taken care of – two beautiful teak trees are integrated in the architecture instead of being chopped down. We could feel how thought-through this place is.
